Here's why we developed the 6'10" Performer board. Steve Miller is a big guy who's been riding longboards for a long time. He told us he wanted something in the 6 1/2 to 7 foot range that would let him rip. What we came up with is a 6' 10" performance board that he loves. Its got a flat bottom that transitions into a double concave in the rear. We made the rails 50/50 in the nose and eased into to very hard rails in the rear but you can make any profile you like.
Steve clocks in right at 200 lbs. and has no flotation issues with the board. He's going to add two (and possibly four) more fins soon. The possibilities are endless!
These templates are offered to customers that already have our instruction manual and want to build another board. They are the same templates as those in our premium plan sets - but without the instruction manual.
